Refund & Dispute Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Budgety Assure LLC is committed to fair billing and fast, honest resolution when something goes wrong. This policy explains when refunds apply, how cancellations work, and the steps we follow to resolve any dispute. It supplements — and where a conflict exists, is governed by — the signed agreement or statement of work for your engagement.
01What is and isn't refundable
- Monthly service fees are refundable on a pro-rata basis for any full month of service not yet begun at the time of cancellation.
- Delivered work — strategy documents, creative assets, campaign builds, and reports — is non-refundable once delivered, as it is produced specifically for you.
- Media spend (ad budgets paid to platforms such as Google or Meta) is paid directly to those platforms and is non-refundable by us; unspent prepaid balances are credited back to you.
- Third-party costs passed through at cost — software licenses, stock media, production vendors — are non-refundable once incurred.
- Setup or onboarding fees are non-refundable once onboarding has started, except where we fail to begin work.
02Service guarantees and credits
Where a signed agreement includes a performance commitment, and we fail to meet it for reasons within our control, we will make it right — typically through additional work or a service credit applied to your next invoice, at your choice. Marketing outcomes can never be guaranteed; we commit to process, effort, and transparency rather than specific platform results.
03Cancellations
- Either party may cancel a month-to-month engagement with 30 days' written notice.
- Fixed-term engagements may be cancelled per the notice and termination terms in the signed agreement.
- On cancellation, we deliver all completed work and hand over accounts, access, and data you own within 10 business days.
04How to request a refund
Email hello@budgetyassure.com with your company name, invoice number, and the reason for the request. We acknowledge every request within 2 business days and give a written decision within 10 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of the decision.
05Raising a dispute
- Step 1 — Notice: send written notice of the dispute to hello@budgetyassure.com, describing the issue and the outcome you're seeking.
- Step 2 — Good-faith review: a manager who is not on your account reviews the record and responds within 10 business days.
- Step 3 — Executive escalation: if unresolved, an agency principal joins a call within 15 business days to negotiate a resolution.
- Step 4 — Informal resolution: before filing suit, the parties agree to attempt mediation for 30 days in the State of Montana.
06Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback — in nearly all cases we can resolve the issue faster than a card network can. Chargebacks filed without first raising a dispute may be contested with our delivery records. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under your card issuer's or payment provider's own policies.
07Late payments and billing corrections
Invoices are due per the payment terms in your agreement. If you believe an invoice is wrong, tell us within 15 days and we will investigate and correct it; undisputed amounts remain payable while a disputed amount is reviewed. Billing disputes never entitle us to withhold delivery of data or account access you own.
08Governing law
This policy and any dispute arising from our services are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Your rights under mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction are not affected.
